Tasmiah is a University of Salford graduate. In addition to her role at Cheshire Foot Clinic she is a member of the East Lancashire NHS Trust Podiatry team where her role includes:
Tasmiah’s particular areas of interest are the diabetic foot, the effect of chronic illness on the lower limb, prevention of complications and treatment planning. In her final year of study her interests inspired her choice of dissertation subject. Tasmiah chose to examine the effectiveness of offloading on the diabetic foot, increasing her knowledge on preventing diabetic foot problems and the musculoskeletal function of the lower limb.
As well as working as a podiatrist, Tasmiah also teaches Arabic and Urdu.
