Joanne Farrell: Podiatrist
Joanne studied Podiatry at the University of Salford, qualifying in 2012. She gained significant experience working in the community as a Podiatrist in Liverpool for Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust before joining us at Cheshire Foot Clinic.
She has a wide and varied Podiatric scope of practice, interest and experience:
– General Podiatry and routine foot care.
– Nail surgery.
– Diabetic foot screening.
– Treatment and management of the High Risk and Diabetic foot.
– Wound care.
– Working as part of a Muli-disciplinary Team using evidence-based practice.
Jo also has a particular interest in MSK Podiatry and sports injuries and is a competitive swimmer and GB Age Group triathlete. She has recently qualified for the 2024 World Triathlon Championships and is due to complete her first Ironman 70.3 in September 2024. She spends most of her spare time outdoors, whatever the weather!
