Cansu Irgat: Podiatrist BSc (Hons), MRCPod
Cansu is originally from Cyprus, she loves travelling and as well as going home to visit family often she seems to visit a new European city most months which makes us all a bit green with envy but she is good at passing on her travel tips. She originally came to the UK to study Human Biology at the University of Hull before she discovered her passion for podiatry and all things feet. Cansu went on to complete a BSc(Honours) in Podiatric Medicine at the University of Salford in 2022 and since then, she has built valuable experience working in private practice.
She has developed a particular interest in Verruca Needling, Nail Surgery and Dermal Fillers for corns but her clinical expertise covers all aspects of podiatric care, including:

- Vascular & Neurological Assessment
- Diabetic Foot Assessment
- Management of High-Risk Foot
- Management & treatment of fungal nails
- Dermal Fillers for corns
- Verrucae Treatments
As well as a fondness for travel Cansu enjoys keeping fit with regular strength training and long walks. She is a keen artist and is inspired by Salvador Dali, he broke all the usual limits with his work by seeing things from a different perspective and Cansu likes to take this approach to problem solving and treating patient’s feet.
