Joanne Farrell: Podiatrist BSc (Hons), MRCPod
Member of the Royal College of Podiatry: CH32610
Joanne studied Podiatry at the University of Salford, qualifying in 2012. She worked as a Community Podiatrist in Liverpool for Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust before joining us at Cheshire Foot Clinic in 2023.
Her clinical expertise covers all aspects of podiatric care, including:
- General podiatry and routine foot care
- Nail surgery and management of ingrowing toenails
- Biomechanical assessments
- Neurological and vascular assessments
- Diabetic foot assessments
- Managements of high-risk feet
- Verrucae treatments
- Management and treatment of fungal nails
Joanne has a special interest in musculoskeletal podiatry, with a particular interest in running injuries and the female athlete.
Outside of the clinic, Jo is a competitive swimmer and triathlete so understands first-hand the importance of being injury free when wanting to perform at your best.
