Returning you to comfort
Corns and calluses on the feet are a sign of elevated forces or pressure. They are the body’s way of protecting. They can be caused by pressure from internal structures such as prominent bones or external structures like tight footwear.
Dry skin often develops with age and scarring of the skin after injury can also cause corns and calluses.
For most people a little hard skin is not painful or a problem and can be managed by regularly using the right foot cream and wearing suitable footwear. For others corns and calluses can be a cause of pain and discomfort and require treatment.
If you are suffering with calluses or corns our Podiatrists can treat them painlessly by debridement and and advise you on prevention. Patients say their feet look and feel better immediately after treatment. Find out more about our Routine Treatment of Nails Corns and Calluses.
