Lisa studied Podiatric Medicine at University College Salford, qualifying in 1993. She began her career at Leeds NHS Trust, developing a passion for managing foot problems associated with diabetes and other complex medical conditions.
After moving to the North West, Lisa joined Trafford Healthcare NHS Trust where she became a Specialist Podiatrist for people living with diabetes and other medical conditions that place the foot at risk. In 2001, she initiated and led a successful multidisciplinary foot clinic within the hospital, a role she held for 17 years.
Lisa then moved into private practice, at the Brookdale Clinic in Knutsford before joining Cheshire Foot Clinic in 2021.
Her clinical expertise covers all aspects of podiatric care, including:
• General podiatry and routine footcare
• Diabetic foot assessments
• Management of high-risk feet and complex medical conditions
• Nail surgery and management of ingrowing toenails
• Verrucae treatments
• Management and treatment of fungal nails
• Neurological and vascular assessments
Outside of the clinic, Lisa enjoys keeping fit, walking her miniature dachshunds.
